Connex Education Partnership are seeking warm and dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide learning support on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEN requirements for a supportive school in Widnes, we have multiple postions offering posts from 24hrs per week -30 hrs.

As a Teaching Assistant (TA) you will work closely with class teachers to assist students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, explaining concepts, facilitating engaging activities, and enabling their educational development. Other key duties include managing behaviour challenges and helping prepare useful classroom resources.

We welcome passionate TAs of all experience levels – from those just starting out building their skills, to expert assistants seeking new challenges. Full and part-time roles available.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a patient, caring and encouraging manner.
• Be able to quickly build rapport with students.
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience of working with children or young adults with SEN

Required:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent

And/or

• Minimum of 3-6 months experience working with Primary School children
