Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in Wolverhampton on a daily temporary basis. You will help pupils feel settled, supported and confident within the classroom, supporting children individually, in small groups or with the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a school, nursery or childcare setting, SEN experience, a positive attitude, good classroom management and flexibility to travel to Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Aspire People are recruiting for a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in Wolverhampton on a daily temporary basis.

The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils feel settled, supported and confident within the classroom. You may be supporting children individually, in small groups or alongside the class teacher.

You could be responsible for:

• Supporting KS1 pupils with additional learning needs
• Assisting with classroom activities
• Providing 1:1 support where required
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
• Helping children become more independent
• Working as part of a supportive school team

We are keen to hear from candidates who are reliable, enthusiastic and genuinely enjoy working with children.
