Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils who face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges?
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a specialist provision in Wigan that caters to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and we are seeking a committed teaching assistant to join their exceptional team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs or behavioural challenges
- A calm, supportive, and positive approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Willingness to work 1:1 or in small groups
- A genuine desire to make a difference in pupils' lives
Experience in an educational, youth work, or care setting is highly valued. Team Teach training or similar is a bonus, but not essential as training can be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
