A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work in a 'GOOD' OFSTED graded school in Chester. The role involves supporting children, leading interventions, and managing classroom behavior. Training is provided, and applicants should have a Teaching Assistant qualification and relevant experience.
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to find their next role, and work in a SEN based School setting in an OFSTED graded 'GOOD' school in the Chester.
A successful applicant will have a Teaching Assistant qualification or higher and will have 12 weeks+ of experience working with children in a SEN school setting. You will be expected to cover class in the absence of a teacher, small group, and large group interventions in KS2 and 3 settings. Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as training is provided.
Prospero Teaching provide staff to schools and colleges across Merseyside and Cheshire, including SEN schools. We are currently looking to fill a Teaching Assistant role in Chester. The strongest applicant will have confidence in leading a group of children in absence of their teacher, reading, and writing sessions and will have good behavioural management skills as well as 1 to 1 roles.
