Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in Exeter. The role focuses on SEMH needs, providing consistent classroom support and positive behavior guidance, starting ASAP and paid £90-£120 per day.

You will join a dedicated education recruitment team, with CPD courses and ongoing onboarding. The Schools require patient, adaptable individuals able to build rapport with pupils and colleagues while ensuring a safe, engaging learning

Are you a patient and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support in the classroom?

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Knowledge of SEN and SEMH needs
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Experience managing challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills
• A patient and resilient approach
• Adaptability and a willingness to support pupils' individual needs
