Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an experienced special educational needs teaching assistant to join a school in Slough. You will support students aged 2-19 with learning disabilities and complex conditions, including PMLD and autism, in small groups or 1:1 settings.

The role emphasizes patience, adaptability and a kind approach, with a daily rate of £88-£95 and daytime hours 8:30-16:30. DBS update service preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (Child and Adult Workforce) or willingness to undergo one.
• 3-6 months of experience working alongside pupils with severe learning difficulties, disabilities and autism.
• GCSE grades 4/C or above in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to small groups and on a 1:1 basis to students.
• Build bonds with students and aid them in their learning journey.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced special educational needs teaching assistant to join our school in Slough. The position would suit someone who is flexible, adaptable, kind and patient as you'll be working alongside a range of students aged from 2-19 years old with learning disabilities and complex conditions, including PMLD, autism and non-verbal pupils.

You will be providing support to small groups and on a 1:1 basis, building bonds and aiding students in their learning journey.

Salary: £88-95 per day.

Working Hours Between: 8:30-4:30

You Will Need:

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (Child and Adult Workforce only) or willingness to undergo one.
• 3-6 months of experience working alongside pupils with severe learning difficulties, disabilities and autism.
• GCSE grades 4/C or above in English and Maths.
• Access to public transport or own vehicle. ( Local bus routes are available)
