Job summary

Randstad Education in Slough is seeking an experienced special educational needs teaching assistant to support students aged 2-19 with learning disabilities, including PMLD and autism. The role involves working with small groups and one-to-one to build bonds and aid learning.

The ideal candidate will have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), 3–6 months of relevant experience, GCSEs in English and Maths at 4/C or above, and reliable access to transport.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (Child and Adult Workforce) or willingness to undergo one.
• 3–6 months of experience working with pupils with severe learning difficulties, disabilities and autism.
• GCSE grades 4/C or above in English and Maths.
• Access to public transport or own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Build bonds and aid students in their learning journey.
