Job summary

Randstad Education in Slough is seeking an experienced special educational needs teaching assistant to join our school. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, kind and patient, supporting pupils aged 2–19 with learning disabilities, including PMLD, autism and non-verbal students.

You will provide support to small groups and on a 1:1 basis, helping pupils in their learning journey and building strong bonds with them.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain.
• 3–6 months of experience with pupils who have severe learning difficulties and autism.
• GCSEs 4/C or above in English and Maths.

You Will Need:

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (Child and Adult Workforce only) or willingness to undergo one.
• 3-6 months of experience working alongside pupils with severe learning difficulties, disabilities and autism.
• GCSE grades 4/C or above in English and Maths.
• Access to public transport or own vehicle. ( Local bus routes are available)
