Job summary

Tangmere Primary Academy (TKAT) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The role offers a 31.25 hour week across 38.2 weeks per year with a FTE equivalent salary of £26,403 and an estimated actual of £18,704.

You will assist the teacher with engaging activities, resources and strategies to meet individual learning needs. We value great communication, patience and teamwork to raise student achievement and ensure a high-quality education for every child.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and inclusive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team.

FTE £26,403 (Estimated Actuals £18,704) 31.25hrs per week 38.2 week per year

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have a patient, compassionate nature and a genuine interest in supporting their learning and development? You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Working with the teacher you will assist with the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies to ensure provisions support individual learning needs.
