Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bourne, Lincolnshire. The role supports pupils with additional needs and requires Monday–Friday availability on a supply basis with potential for long-term or permanent positions.

You will work with teachers and staff to create an inclusive classroom, supporting emotional, social and educational development while helping pupils engage with learning and thrive academically.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEN support role.
• Experience in Care Work, Support Work or similar setting.
• Patient, compassionate and understanding.
• Confident working with children and young people.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, committed and available Monday–Friday.
• Passionate about making a positive difference to pupils' lives.

GSL Education are currently seeking a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bourne, Lincolnshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals who is passionate about helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

The Role:

• Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
• Monday–Friday availability required
• Initially working on a supply basis, with the opportunity to progress into a long-term or permanent position
• Providing tailored support to help pupils engage with their learning
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' emotional, social and educational development

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support role
• Alternatively, experience within Care Work, Support Work or a similar setting
• Patient, compassionate and understanding
• Confident working with children and young people
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, committed and available Monday–Friday
• Passionate about making a positive difference to pupils' lives
