Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a welcoming primary school in Slough. You will support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them build confidence, independence and learning skills.

The ideal candidate will have prior UK primary TA experience, a compassionate approach, good safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development in a supportive team.

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding, long-term role in a supportive primary school?

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN TA to join a mainstream primary school in the Slough area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants to make a genuine difference to their education and development.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school setting
• Have strong experience supporting children with SEN and additional needs
• Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Have a patient, nurturing and positive approach
• Be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
• Be reliable, committed and looking for a long-term position
