Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for a mainstream primary school in Salford (M6). The role is full-time and long-term, supporting pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour to access learning in an inclusive setting.

Immediate start after half-term is available for suitable candidates. You will work with class teachers to implement learning activities and manage classroom dynamics with patience and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN settings or transferable skills from related care roles.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two professional references.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Pay: £90–£105 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

• ASD / Autism
• Challenging behaviour

These full-time, long-term roles are ideal for candidates with SEN school experience. We also welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills gained in:

• Youth offending or criminal justice services
• Children’s residential care
• Mental health or behavioural support roles
• Police or prison services

Requirements
