SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £83 - £100 per day

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a SEN Secondary School team located in Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing personalised support to students with a variety of additional learning needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support to students in classroom.
• Work in partnership with teachers, families, and external professionals.

• Assist teaching staff in lesson delivery and encourage active student participation.
• Implement strategies to support the student's emotional, social, and academic development.
• Promote independence while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Interest in supporting children and young people with SEN.

• Previous experience in an SEN support role, ideally within a school environment.
• Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
