Job summary

GB Recruitment is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 3 to 19 with diverse learning needs within SEN settings. You will assist SEN Teachers to maximise each pupil’s potential and independence.

We offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments with flexible schedules. Successful candidates will hold a Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent) and demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 certificate in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools or equivalent.
• Hold an NNEB, Cache or equivalent in Early Years Education.
• Experience or desire to support within SEN and autism.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN teachers and pupils with learning needs including MLD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD and Autism.
• Assist in planning and delivering activities to maximise pupil independence.
• Provide day-to-day support in line with school needs (short, long term placements).
