Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a lovely school in Monmouth. The role involves providing crucial 1:1 support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). You'll work closely with teachers to enhance students' academic and social development, while receiving comprehensive support from Academics.

SEN Teaching Assistant Suitable to NQT New

Would you like to be part of improving children's lives? Are you experienced in working with children with ALN?

Academics are looking for someone to work in a lovely school Monmouth on a 1:1 in their Learning Resource Base.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will make a vital difference in the progress and academic development of pupils with ALN whilst supporting them in their social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with ALN and help students understand instructions.
  • Assist in implementing individual learning and support plans
  • Work alongside the classroom teacher and SEN team to create a positive working environment
  • Prepare, provide and deliver suitable learning materials.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a SEN setting (essential)
