A leading company in education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in Mansfield. This full-time, long-term position involves working closely with pupils with diverse needs, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. Teaching Personnel is working with inclusive and nurturing Primary and SEN schools in NG18 who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.
Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties
Provide in-class support and tailored interventions
Support the social, emotional and academic progress of children
Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents to ensure pupil development
Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
Patience, empathy and resilience in challenging situations
A background in care, early years, psychology or education is advantageous
A strong desire to help pupils reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
