Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming Kirkham primary school. The role is full-time and long-term, with potential for permanency.

You will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a positive school environment. The position features a Monday-to-Friday schedule (8:45am–3:30pm) at a competitive rate of £14.25 per hour, with the start date in November 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children in a classroom setting is essential.
• Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
