Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1) for a Year 4 pupil with ASD in Redbridge LEA, starting September 2026. This long-term role focuses on supporting academic, social and emotional development, building trust with the pupil, and coordinating with the class teacher and SENCO.

The ideal candidate will have experience with ASD, strong behaviour management skills, and a patient, calm approach.

SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1) - Year 4 ASD Support

Location: Redbridge LEA

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Long-term

Pay: £14.24 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Redbridge LEA from September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who presents with challenging behaviour.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, calm, and consistent, with the confidence to set clear boundaries while building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the child's academic, social, and emotional development, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ASD.
