A fantastic opportunity has arisen at an ‘Outstanding’ Primary school located in Hounslow to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant – ASD focussed.
The Head Teacher is looking to recruit academically gifted Psychology Graduate with the knowledge and experience required to work with SEN pupils. Childcare/SEN experience is also essential for this position (minimum of 6 months).
As a SEN Teaching Assistant – ASD focussed, you will be offering 1:1 & group support with students that could have mild or severe ASD.
In this role, you will be supporting children with Autism, in & out of the classroom. Your focus will be to help with the pupils’ overall learning and personal growth where necessary. This could include helping with: numeracy, speech & language, behaviour & mannerisms.
This position is suitable for a hardworking and caring individual who has experience working with students that have ASD and would like to progress onto a SEN Teaching career.
