Job summary

Qualifications

Learning Support Assistant

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £95 - £115 per day

Do you have experience working with pupils with Autism / ASD, ADHD or Moderate Learning Difficulties / MLD?

Are you patient, resilient and confident adapting your approach to meet individual learning and behavioural needs?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in the HR5 area of Hereford supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism / ASD, ADHD and Moderate Learning Difficulties / MLD. The setting provides a supportive and structured environment focused on helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence and independence.

The setting is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide individual and classroom support, help pupils remain engaged with learning and work closely with teaching staff to deliver consistent support tailored to each pupil's needs.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND


• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and/or MLD


• Confidence supporting a range of learning and behavioural needs


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills


• The ability to follow individual support strategies consistently
