Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is recruiting a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a KS1 pupil with additional needs in the TS14 Guisborough area. The role runs Monday to Friday, starting October 2026, with salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS1 - Full Time - October 2026

TS14 Guisborough Area - Competitive Daily Rate (dependent on experience)

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work within a welcoming primary school in the TS14 Guisborough area.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, supporting a KS1 child with additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide individualised support, helping the pupil to access learning, develop confidence and independence, and enjoy a positive experience at school.

The role will commence in October 2026 and is ongoing, with the potential to become long-term depending on the needs of the school.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 qualification or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning. Previous experience supporting children with additional needs within a primary school setting is desirable.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive and enthusiastic teaching team, the desired Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with additional needs.
