Job summary

SENCare Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for an Autism Learning Support Worker at a Special Primary School in Canning Town, East London. The role requires a caring, proactive TA to support pupils with autism, SEMH, and related needs, including personal care and following ECHPs.

Start ASAP, ongoing 5 days a week, 8.30am–4.30pm. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months’ relevant experience with children aged 4–11, a clear DBS on Update Service, and a passion for building strong relationships

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience supporting students with autism and SEMH.
• Experience supporting students aged 4–11.
• Will provide personal care.
• Able to follow students’ ECHPs.
• Experience with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing and social communication needs.

Autism Learning Support Worker - Special Primary School - Canning Town, East London

SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a special primary school that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support children who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 5 days a week - ongoing.

Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

The ideal teaching assisant -

• will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
• experience supporting students aged 4 - 11
• will provide personal care
• able to follow students ECHPs
• experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
• the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
• have a clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.
