Simply Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with a group of students who have become disconnected from their learning. The successful candidate will have resilience and be able to model and promote high behaviour expectations. Effective communication skills, rapport building, and the ability to inspire and motivate students are essential.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support students in building resilience, self-worth, and self-regulation skills. The role involves creating a positive learning environment, including reflection areas like a themed 'North Pole' regulation station, designed as an igloo to provide a safe space for students.

The ideal candidate will have experience in education, be aligned with the school's values and ethos, and be committed to supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Excellent communication, adaptability, and a passion for helping young people reach their full potential are required.
