Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Teaching Assistant (PMLD) to join a primary school in Newham. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities within a specialist provision, working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff to help pupils access learning.

You will help pupils develop communication skills and independence, using PECS, communication boards, eye gaze and other AAC systems, while promoting wellbeing and positive behaviour

Working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff, you will help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and achieve their individual goals.

Pay and Progression

Pay ranges from £95 to £105 per day, depending on relevant experience and specialist skills. Candidates with previous PMLD, complex needs, AAC communication or personal care experience may be considered for the higher end of the pay scale.
