Teaching Personnel is seeking caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND in a nurturing learning environment. You will work with teachers and therapists to assist pupils aged 10-17 with ASC, SLCN and ADHD, in small groups and one-to-one settings.

We are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team, supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and highly individualised learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with a range of additional needs, both in the classroom and throughout the school day. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in helping our pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Many of these pupils have experienced challenges in previous educational settings and benefit from a calm, structured and relationship-based approach to learning.
Classes are intentionally small, typically consisting of 4-8 pupils, allowing for personalised learning and strong relationships. Teaching Assistants work alongside experienced teachers, with high levels of adult support to ensure every child can engage successfully.

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in education, care, youth work, residential support, health, psychology or other people-focused roles.
Due to our rural location, there is limited public transport, therefore access to your own transport is essential to reliably travel to and from work.
