Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with complex SEN.
  • Experience supporting communication, sensory or cognitive needs.
  • Patient and consistent approach.

  • Genuine understanding of supporting pupils towards greater independence.
  • Experience in a specialist school, SEN provision, care environment or similar setting.

A specialist education setting in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 7-19 with complex cognitive, sensory and communication needs. This is an opportunity for a professional with relevant SEN experience to work closely with teaching staff and specialist teams to help pupils develop communication, independence, physical skills and readiness to learn.

Your Responsibilities:
