About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant at the specialist SEN school, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students with a diverse range of learning needs. This fulfilling role involves:

• Working closely with individual students and small groups, both inside and outside the classroom, to provide tailored support and encouragement.
• Assisting with personal care needs (as required) with respect and sensitivity.
• Implementing engaging learning activities designed by teachers, adapting your approach to meet individual learning styles and needs.
• Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each student's development.

About You:

• You have a genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a belief in their potential to thrive.
• You are patient, understanding, and empathetic, with a warm and nurturing approach.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working in an SEN setting is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
