SEN Teaching Assistant Winchester Specialist & Mainstream Support 80- 100 per day ASAP Start

The SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you may support pupils individually, work with small groups or assist within a specialist classroom depending on the assignment.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff and follow established strategies rather than independently deciding a pupil's support programme.

What Makes a Strong SEN Teaching Assistant?

An effective SEN Teaching Assistant should be patient, dependable and able to respond thoughtfully when pupils find situations difficult.

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is beneficial, although experience in care, mentoring, youth work, childcare or similar roles can provide valuable transferable skills.
