SEN Teaching Assistant | Winchester | Specialist & Mainstream Support | £80-£100 per day | ASAP Start

Reeson Education is seeking a caring and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant for current and upcoming opportunities around Winchester. This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves helping pupils with additional educational needs access learning, build confidence and develop greater independence.

The SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Pay: £80-£100 per day Location: Winchester Start: ASAP Opportunities in mainstream and specialist settings Full-time and flexible work may be available

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you may support pupils individually, work with small groups or assist within a specialist classroom depending on the assignment.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff and follow established strategies rather than independently deciding a pupil's support programme.

What Makes a Strong SEN Teaching Assistant?

An effective SEN Teaching Assistant should be patient, dependable and able to respond thoughtfully when pupils find situations difficult.

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is beneficial, although experience in care, mentoring, youth work, childcare or similar roles can provide valuable transferable skills.
