Job summary

Aspire People Limited in Coalville are recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a school setting. Start date within the next month, full-time, five days a week, Monday to Friday, with daily rate of £100-£105.

Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential; candidates with experience in sports coaching, youth work, childcare or similar roles are welcome. DBS checks required or willing to obtain one, with support from Aspire People.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Coalville

Location: Coalville

Aspire People are pleased to be working in partnership with a school in Coalville who are looking to welcome a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to their team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys helping children learn, grow and overcome challenges. Previous experience within a school is beneficial, but it is not essential.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience working with children through other settings.

Your background could include sports coaching, music, children's clubs, childcare, youth work, activity groups or any other environment where you have supported and engaged with children.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people
• Be confident building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Be enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs
• Work well as part of a wider school team
• Hold a DBS or be happy to complete the necessary DBS checks
• Ideally hold a qualification related to children, education or young people

The role offers:

• £100-£105 per day
