Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across Somerset schools, supporting pupils including those with SEND. You will assist in classrooms, help deliver activities, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

You will collaborate with teachers, adapt materials, and foster pupil confidence and independence. Opportunities include flexible schedules and full induction, with safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (desirable).
  • Background in education, SEN, care, support work, youth work, or similar sectors.
  • Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
