Job summary

Supply Staff Limited in Somerset is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for full-time long-term roles and day-to-day supply across the county.

You will support pupils with special educational needs, assist teachers with learning activities, promote positive behaviour and independence, and contribute to an inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A patient, supportive and adaptable approach.
• Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
• Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
