Connex Education Partnership is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for long-term, full and part-time roles in Chesterfield, supporting pupils in a welcoming primary school setting within the FHT Multi Academy Trust. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an inclusive classroom environment.

Roles start ASAP, offering 32.5 hours per week during term time with ongoing placements and potential extension. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are required or willing to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a classroom environment.
• Calm, patient and supportive approach with pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proof of right to work in the UK and DBS check (or willing to apply).
• Experience with pupils with additional needs is a plus.

We are seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for a long-term, full and part-time roles in Chesterfield, supporting pupils in a welcoming primary school setting. This is a great opportunity to work with a multi academy trust with strong links to the outdoors and a supportive learning environment.

• Work with class teachers to deliver targeted learning support.

• Communicate effectively with teaching staff and follow school policies and guidance.
• What We’re Looking For
• Experience working in a classroom environment or similar setting.
• At least 3 months’ experience working with young people.
• A calm, patient and supportive approach to working with pupils with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new enhanced DBS check.
