Support Worker for Children with Special Educational Needs

Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs access education? We are a dedicated staffing agency providing support to schools across the area, grounded in values of kindness, inclusion, and respect. Does this resonate with you?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEN, additional needs, or disabilities? Are you confident working with children with autism, cerebral palsy, MLD, SpLD, or other barriers? Do you have experience with communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, BSL, or similar?

The Role

You will work with pupils across Key Stages within the classroom, supporting their engagement and access to learning. Your responsibilities include assisting children with tasks set by teachers, promoting confidence, encouraging independence, and helping pupils reach their potential.

About You

• A qualified Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with disabilities or SEN
• Experience working in school environments
• Excellent communication skills to hold student attention and focus
• Ability to promote happiness, self-reliance, and positive interactions
