Job summary

Apex Education Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support students aged 4-19 with Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs. The role runs Monday to Friday during term time, with start dates as soon as possible.

You will work with teaching staff to tailor support in and out of the classroom, helping students engage, build confidence, and reach individual goals while modelling patience, resilience and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children and young people with moderate to complex learning difficulties is desirable.
• Knowledge of moving and handling practices would also be advantageous.
• Successful candidates must be willing to support students with personal care where required.
• Above all, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate patience, resilience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs.

Looking to recruit an enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 4 - 19 with Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs.

To start as soon as possible - Monday to Friday (Term time only)

For the role as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support both in and out of the classroom.
