Job summary

Mana Education in Burton upon Trent is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in an alternative provision academy. The role is long-term, with potential for permanent placement, and offers excellent rates of pay and weekly pay.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, helping with communication, emotional regulation and independence for children with SEND. Ideal candidates will have relevant UK school experience or care/youth background, a calm and patient approach, strong teamwork,

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience supporting children or young people OR relevant experience in UK schools.
  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.

Mana Education are urgently recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for an alternative provision academy for pupils who have been, or are at risk of being, excluded from mainstream schools.

The position is a long term one and will probably be made permanent.

We are looking for caring, patient and dedicated individuals to support children and young people.

  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

  • ADHD & Emotional Regulation

You may work:
