Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant Positions

Prospero Teaching is seeking a number of specialist SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a special needs school catering to children with autism, social, emotional, and mental health needs. We also have opportunities across multiple primary and secondary schools in the Bridgend area.

These positions are suitable for individuals with experience working with these needs, as well as those with limited experience but a strong desire to learn more in this field. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

• Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Requirements, Training, and Qualifications

• Understanding of childcare and special educational needs
• Experience working with children (preferred but not essential)
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (Prospero can provide this)

• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
