Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking a SEN Teacher with QTS to join a specialist school in Uxbridge. You will deliver differentiated lessons, support pupils with SEN, and contribute to individual learning plans in a nurturing environment.

Start ASAP, Monday – Friday. The role requires strong classroom management, safeguarding commitment, and collaboration with Teaching Assistants and the school team.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience with SEN is highly desirable.
• Experience with autism or complex needs would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support pupils with SEN and complex learning needs.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils with their communication, confidence and independence.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils and promoting their wellbeing.
• Contributing to individual learning plans and wider pupil support strategies.
