Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking a SEN Teacher with QTS for a specialist school in Slough. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, support pupils with SEN/autism, and create an inclusive classroom focused on progress and development.

The role is Monday to Friday, full-time, with a competitive daily rate of £180-£250 and an ASAP start. You will work as part of a supportive school team, collaborating with teaching assistants and therapists to tailor learning plans for each pupil.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN/autism is desirable.
• Ability to differentiate learning and respond to individual needs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Support pupils with autism and additional learning needs.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use creative and personalised approaches to encourage engagement and progress.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider school team.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individualised learning plans.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and support their social, emotional and academic development.
• Promote independence, communication and confidence.
