Zusammenfassung

Selwyn Hall School, part of the Polaris Community in Foxton (near Cambridge), is seeking an experienced primary teacher to deliver a SEN-focused curriculum for 7–18 year olds with SEMH. You will plan, prepare and deliver lessons across allocated areas of the National Curriculum, ensuring inclusion for all abilities.

The role requires QTS, successful primary teaching experience, and the ability to adapt teaching to pupils’ needs.

Qualifikationen

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Successful Primary School Teaching experience
• A good knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils needs

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the whole ability range within the class group
• Motivate pupils through enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education
• Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents and colleagues
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote pupils' engagement and learning
• Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
• Maintain discipline within the classroom in line with our Behaviour Policy
