Job summary

Selwyn Hall School, a new SEN school near Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated teacher to educate 7-18 year olds with SEMH. You will plan, prepare and deliver lessons across the curriculum, tailoring approaches for the whole ability range within an inclusive setting.

You will work with colleagues, parents and professionals to monitor progress, provide feedback and create a safe, stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status required for this SEN primary role.
• Experience teaching in primary school settings is essential.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum is expected.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse pupil needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach all allocated curriculum areas across the class group.
• Plan, prepare and present lessons for the full ability range.
• Motivate pupils through engaging, imaginative teaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and professionals to maintain high standards.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to pupils and parents.
