London Teaching Pool, Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to support students aged 7–16 with SEMH and additional needs at a specialist school in Harlow. You will plan engaging, differentiated lessons, build confidence and independence, and collaborate with a supportive team to help students overcome barriers to learning.

The role requires QTS or equivalent teaching qualification, experience with SEN/SEMH, and a patient, adaptable approach.

Qualifikationen

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH or additional needs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching approaches.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students aged 7–16.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.
• Support students with SEMH and additional needs to access learning and progress.
• Develop personalised learning opportunities to build confidence and independence.
• Work with Teaching Assistants and staff to ensure consistent support and progress.
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and personalised targets where appropriate.
