Job summary

TLTP Group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Coggeshall. You will plan engaging, differentiated lessons for students aged 11-18 with SEMH and additional needs, fostering academic and emotional development within a structured setting.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, a patient and resilient approach, and a full driving license to access the school. You will collaborate with support staff to create personalised learning plans and support progression.

Qualifications

Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with SEMH or additional needs is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching approaches.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for students aged 11-18.
Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.
Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.
Support SEMH and additional needs to access learning and make progress.
Develop personalised learning opportunities to build confidence and independence.
Monitor and assess student progress and set next steps.
Build positive relationships and promote positive behaviour.
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and support staff.
