Job summary

Grange School in Manchester, part of Prospere Learning Trust, is seeking a qualified Teacher (SEN) to join our dedicated team. This permanent, full-time role offers MPS/UPS plus SEN allowance and the opportunity to support pupils with complex learning needs.

You will deliver high-quality, personalised learning, collaborate with families and external agencies, and contribute to safeguarding and safeguarding standards while helping pupils achieve their potential in our modern facilities.

Qualifications

• You will need to be qualified to teach and work in the UK with excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective relationships.
• Experience of working with children and/or young people with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students experience a personalised educational programme.
• Plan, deliver, and review lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive working environment within the curriculum area.
• Lead and develop teaching practices of others where applicable.
• Participate in day-to-day school management and liaise with support agencies.
• Contribute to the school’s self-evaluation process.
