Your New Primary School

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teacher to work as part of a successful SEN team. We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who ideally has experience working with children who have Complex Autism (ASD) and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to our ASD and PMLD children, enabling them to make good progress in their learning.

This Primary School is a successful two-form entry, resourced Primary School, with a morning and afternoon Nursery, providing high-quality education to an inclusive and diverse community. This school places a high emphasis on teaching through a creative and sensory curriculum and the community has a strong ethos and shared vision, which lays the foundations for excellence in teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will:

•Make a valuable contribution to the provision of high-quality teaching and learning.
•Raise the standards of SEN pupils within specialist classrooms.
•Have a passion for providing a curriculum for all children to succeed.
•Be able to work and lead effectively within a supportive, committed and successful staff team.
•Collaborating with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
•Have high aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.
•Experience working in a Special School or a Resource Provision School is essential.
•QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree
•Successful experience of teaching the EYFS curriculum
•The right to work in the UK
•You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
