Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting SEN Teachers to work within specialist provisions across Harrogate supporting Primary, Secondary and Post-16 learners.

Roles involve planning differentiated lessons, supporting pupils with diverse SEND needs, and collaborating with support staff and therapists to achieve EHCP outcomes and progress. Full-time, long-term opportunities with ongoing consultant support available across a range of specialist settings. Competitive daily rates apply.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience with SEND pupils desirable.
• Enhanced DBS required (Child DBS and/or willingness to obtain Enhanced Adult DBS).

Job description

We are recruiting SEN Teachers to work within specialist provisions across Harrogate supporting Primary, Secondary and Post-16 learners.

Our partner schools support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), SEMH, challenging behaviour, sensory processing needs, communication difficulties, ADHD and complex learning needs.

The Role

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons
• Support pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Work closely with support staff and therapists
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience working with SEND pupils desirable
• Enhanced Child DBS
• Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
