Job summary

Mana Education is actively recruiting SEN Teachers to support pupils in Chesterfield and surrounding areas. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to long-term and permanent roles in specialist schools and SEND provisions.

We welcome teachers with QTS or UK-recognised equivalent and SEND experience, committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice. Roles cover primary and secondary ages with various contract types and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• QTS / equivalent recognised teaching qualification OR relevant experience in UK schools
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Passion for helping pupils achieve their potential
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised learning across a range of SEND provisions.
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and essential life skills.
• Teach across primary and secondary age groups.
• Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term and permanent SEN teaching placements.
