Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate SEN Teachers for flexible supply work across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Roles include day-to-day, short-term, and long-term assignments in mainstream, AP, and specialist SEN settings for both primary and secondary ages.

Candidates should have QTS/QTLS, SEN experience, and a patient, adaptable approach. DBS Update Service is preferred. Daily rates are competitive, with consultant support and opportunities for long-term or permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) required.
• Experience working with pupils with SEN is essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver SEN specialist lessons across a range of settings.
• Support pupils with diverse needs to access learning and achieve outcomes.
• Contribute to planning and adapting activities for individualised support.
• Collaborate with school staff and Teaching Personnel consultants.
