Cornfield School in Littlehampton, West Sussex, is seeking a SEN Teacher with experience in SEMH to join a dedicated team. The successful candidate will work with students aged 8-16 with Social, Emotional or Behavioural difficulties, supporting them to become more independent.

Cornfield is boys school located in the seaside town of Littlehampton and has 84 students on role, aged between 8 and 16 who have Social, Emotional or Behavioural difficulties.
We are looking to appoint a SEN Teacher with experience in SEMH. The successful applicant will work alongside our friendly and supportive team of professionals who put the students at the heart of what we do.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate robustness & resilience as the role can be extremely rewarding but very demanding. It is important to be able to maintain a level of calm and have excellent communication skills with both adults and young people. It is essential to have good organisational skills, the ability to multitask and act as a role model for students.
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice and have recent experience of working with children with SEN, however experience in Social, Emotional and Communication Difficulties would be advantageous.
