Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher for a specialist SEN Primary School in Stratford-upon-Avon, starting January 2027. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with complex needs, including ASD, in a nurturing and structured environment.

The role involves collaborating with teaching assistants and therapists, supporting pupils' communication, social development and independence, and monitoring progress to meet EHCP targets.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience with SEN, particularly ASD and complex needs.
• Patient, nurturing, adaptable and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
• Support pupils with complex needs, including ASD.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals.
• Support pupils' communication, social development and independence.
• Monitor progress and adapt learning to meet EHCP targets.
